Reliquaries
Reliquaries (2019-present) are devotional sculptural collages composed of piles and accumulated paper ephemera—letters, postcards, calendar, and magazine pages. Each work is a portrait of someone with whom I’ve had a close personal relationship or who has deeply inspired me from afar. Embedded within each Reliquary are relics: objects, mementos, or visual material related to the person portrayed. These memorials are made to honor memories, acting as vessels for both the physical and psychological traces of each individual.
